International Women’s Day is a day to celebrate the achievements of women throughout history and across nations.
Snugabell Mom & Baby Gear was started by a woman who wasn’t happy with the options she found when she went looking for a hands-free pumping solution. She took matters into her own hands, made her own – incorporating her style – and the award-winning PumpEase hands-free pumping bra was born.
Today Snugabell is (wo)manned by Wendy (the creator of PumpEase) at the helm, with her team of enthusiastic Snugbellas providing support. International Women’s Day is a day of celebration for Snugabell, but not frivolity. As Wendy so eloquently says,
“International Women’s Day is a day to reflect on how far we, as women, have come, to celebrate our successes today, and to plan our fight for the future.
It’s actually unsettling that we need a day to shine a light on women, that we have only held the right to vote for a hundred years and that we still are far from experiencing equal pay. That this has been our “normal” for too long.
I can often be heard saying that women would do a far better job at running the world than men have. How did we get here?”
