PumpEase Organic hands-free pumping bra:

  • fits breastfeeding moms sized from 32AA to 48H and beyond.
  • features patented, ‘no-stitch’ flange openings, guaranteed to accommodate any breast pump on the market.
  • is designed with bartacks at each end of the flange openings for incomparable reinforcement. This is the same type of stitching used to construct denim jeans.
  • is also available in a non-organic technical fabric that comes in fun, colourful prints with matching wet bags.
  • is made with love in Canada.

PumpEase Organic is as easy on the environment as breastfeeding itself!™

Why do I need a PumpEase hands-free pumping bra?

  • I don’t want to feel anchored by my pump. I want to be able to pump and multitask.
  • My baby was born prematurely and can’t breastfeed yet.
  • I want to feed my baby breastmilk but I’m going back to work and need to be able to pump while typing, driving, eating lunch, etc.
  • My baby has latch issues and I want to pump to maintain my supply until we can breastfeed.
  • I want to donate my oversupply to a milk bank.
  • I need to preserve my milk supply during a lapse in breastfeeding (travel, hospitalization, etc.).
  • I’m trying to boost my breastmilk supply by pumping.
  • I’m adopting and want to induce lactation.
  • I need relief from frequent painful engorgement.
  • I have a blocked milk duct.
  • I want the freedom of leaving my partner with our baby for a feeding.

Why is PumpEase better than other hands-free products on the market?

Flexibility – PumpEase is designed with patented, ‘no-stitch’ horn openings that accommodate ALL makes and sizes of breast pump flanges guaranteed. PumpEase can be worn by itself or over any nursing bra / cami / top you choose.

Quality – PumpEase is made with a high-performance technical fabric that provides exceptional comfort, stretch and memory, easy care, and quick-dry and wicking qualities. PumpEase is designed and manufactured with love in Canada.

Environmentally Friendly – Organic cotton is friendlier on Mama Earth than a conventional cotton crop, which uses more chemicals from start to finish than any other crop.

Accessibility – We chose a hook and eye closure for PumpEase because of its durability and familiarity. It’s also much quieter than Velcro (important if you pump near your sleeping baby for the benefits proximity can give!). PumpEase has three rows of hook and eye closures so you can adjust and maintain a snug fit as your body and supply change. PumpEase isn’t stiff or overly structured; it supports hands-on pumping so you can massage or compress your breasts to encourage higher breastmilk output.

About Organic Cotton

A conventional cotton crop uses more chemicals from start to finish than any other crop. An organic cotton crop does away with genetically modified plants and harsh pesticides, providing consumers with an eco-friendly, healthy option. Organic cotton is durable, breathable, absorbs moisture, and retains all of the qualities of regular cotton while being gentler on the environment.

About Our Packaging

We package PumpEase Organic in a recycled paperboard that contains a minimum of 35% post-consumer content. The inks used to print the packaging are vegetable or seed-based (soy or linseed) and both the protective coating and the glue are water-based, a safe and environmentally-friendly option. Our packaging manufacturer has used these raw materials for over 15 years. We are proud to be working with such a forward-thinking and environmentally-conscious company!

Wrap your PumpEase around your bust and fasten in the front over your nursing bra or bare skin. Slip your breast pump flanges through the openings, connect them to your pump, and start pumping. Easy peasy! You don’t have to fuss with straps or ties, or try to pretzel your way into PumpEase.

Use your maternity or nursing bra size as a guideline and refer to the chart below. It’s best to be fit for a nursing bra during the last month of pregnancy. This is a good estimation of the size you’ll be once breastfeeding is established. Avoid being fit for a nursing bra in the first two weeks after giving birth which is when most moms are “fullest.” As your body adjusts to your baby’s needs, your breast size will regulate.

Hand or machine wash in cool water.
Hang to dry.
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.

In a pinch you can machine dry your PumpEase but we don’t recommend making a habit of it because the dryer heat will eventually break down the spandex.

It can take a little practice to perfect but some moms report increased output when they pump and breastfeed simultaneously. First, put your PumpEase on like you normally would. Then slip in your flange and hook up your pump (just on one side if you’ve got a double pump!); we recommend not turning your pump on until after your baby latches because your baby will help stimulate your letdown. Then latch your nursling through the other super-soft flange opening, and sit back and relax!

We hear from a lot of Pumpin’ Mamas who use PumpEase to pump while they drive! Some find that adding a nursing cover gives them a bit more privacy to avoid curious stares if they’re stuck in rush hour traffic. Pro Tip: leaving a second PumpEase in the car means you’ll never find yourself engorged without a hands-free option when you’re driving!

Is 40 DDD your pre-pregnancy bra size or have you been fit for a nursing bra? Most moms go up in band size and cup size so it’s best to go for a bra fitting in the last month of your pregnancy (or after the first two weeks postpartum). You can visit The Fitting Room for more sizing help or email us so we can help find you the right fit.

No! PumpEase won’t shrink in the wash or get baggy after use because it’s made with an 88% high-count polyester / 12% spandex microfiber technical knit fabric.  Think Lululemon – soft and luxurious yet the fabric ‘hugs’ you.

You can but we don’t recommend it. The heat from the dryer will eventually break down the spandex and shorten the life of your PumpEase.   If you’re in a pinch, you can throw it in the dryer occasionally.  This is just another reason to have more than one PumpEase on-hand.

1 review for PumpEase Organic® hands-free pumping bra

  1. Rated 4 out of 5

    Sarah S

I had purchased this item at the gift shop from the hospital. I find it helpful not only from a hands free perspective, but also as a woman that has larger sized breasts it is hard for the tubing to reach each breast, this pumping bra helps bring both breasts a little closer together comfortably to make sure the tubing fits ( I already checked with medela they only have 1 size fits all for tubing). The only draw back I find to the organic cotton item is I found the fabric does take longer to dry. I decided to get another of the regular fabric bras and than this way I could keep one in my bedroom upstairs and one in the living room where I pump. The regular fabric does seem to dry faster.

I should mention when I pump I don’t tend to walk around the house with this item, I like to try and relax and do emails or surf the web when I pump; so I can’t comment how this holds up, but it has held the bottles in place securely the couple times I’ve had to get up and tend to the baby.

I also just want to mention the amazing customer service I recently received when I wrote in to ask a question and share some feedback. I was blown away with the customer service.

This item is now one I’m going to look at as my go to shower gift.
