Meet the Snugabellas

Wendy Armbruster - Founder & CEO - Mom to Toni and Michaela
Wendy is a true Gemini - math geek meets designer. She loves to decompress out in her garden (she comes by it naturally; her mom is in her 80s and still cans 100 lbs of her homegrown tomatoes every summer - the same as her dad did well into his 80s), spend time with friends and family, create, and do things that scare her - ride rollercoasters, bungee jump and drive a little too fast (just like her dad), to name a few. A freefall skydive is still on her list.

Susan loves building strong teams and delighting customers! She has more than 20+ years progressive growth in customer-facing operations and supply chain roles across a variety of industries. Susan believes in collaborative relationships, and building a better community - she volunteers her time with several organizations and currently serves as the President of the Board for the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau. When she's not busy optimizing supply chains, she loves spending time in her home province of BC - you'll often find her biking or walking the seawall in search of the perfect chai tea (hint - try Granville Island Tea Co).

Karen loves working with our international customers. She thinks it is so much fun to chat with people from so many countries and cultures. Those daily conversations really feed her passion for travel. Some of her favourite destinations have been Alaska, Scotland, and Australia. She lives in the American south and in addition to being a Snugabella is an Instructor at Mississippi State University teaching English Composition.

Hillary joined Snugabell after a chance meeting with Wendy in 2012. She can be found posting on Snugabell's social media channels while dodging toddler shenanigans. In her spare time, Hillary likes to play in the kitchen and then post photos of her food on Instagram.

In loving memory of Denise, Wendy's beloved younger sister and Snugabell's first employee. Her sudden death in 2018 devastated her family, friends, and everyone she worked with at Snugabell. Her meticulous work and commitment to supporting those who needed help lives on in Snugabell's mission and core values. Denise is greatly missed and remembered often; every year Snugabell supports the Heart and Stroke Foundation in her honour.
